In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to notify clients of their Federal rights and protections against potential “surprise billing.” This Act requires that I notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by an out-of-network provider, if a client is uninsured, or if a client elects not to use their insurance.
Currently I accept some insurances through the Alma platform.
See my profile below from more information:
You may schedule a consultation and have your insurance eligibility checked through Alma.
I am also private pay .
The benefit of not doing therapy through insurance is that paying out of pocket allows freedom in treatment and lets you work with your provider to choose the best course of action regarding the services you receive.
See the Good Faith Estimate & Fee Schedule at link below.
Payments can be made via cash, check, most debit/credit cards, or HSA/flex spending account. Please contact me to set-up a payment plan. Any bounced check due to insufficient funds will result in a $35 charge to you.
There are two affordable options you can explore below:
I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement. Superbills can be a great way to be fully or partially reimbursed for the cost of your out-of-pocket therapy expenses. Clients submit their super-bills to their insurance company directly. Insurance companies reimburse clients directly depending on their insurance deductible and plan. Each potential client is strongly suggested to learn more, by calling their insurance representative and asking for the "out of pocket mental health reimbursement rate." The insurance company will determine how much, if any, the reimbursement money you are entitled to for out of network services. Note: This does not guarantee reimbursement
The advantage of being private pay is that I am able to offer a sliding scale rate based on financial and/or uninsured circumstances. You can contact me to discuss an out of pocket fee based on current federal assistance for income & size of family levels.
Please notify me prior to 24 hours before your appointment. Failure to do so will lead to a $30 charge to you.
After 2 no shows, the client will be discharged.
Therapy is your choice thus you may always opt to end services.
If you are dissatisfied or have a concern, please feel free to speak to me directly.
I will assist you with a referral to another therapist if applicable.
